![]() IMAGE ENCODINGImages sent with ACTIVESIGNATURE are not shown as attachments, and the receiver does not have to click any buttons to show the images. Following the design philosophy behind ACTIVESIGNATURE, Standard Microsoft Outlook procedures are used to encode images. This means that images sent with ACTIVESIGNATURE will not be shown as attachments, and the receiver will not have to click any buttons to show the images. This is possible because Microsoft Outlook by default chooses to send the images as a BASE64 encoded MIME part. This allows ACTIVESIGNATURE to include logos, pictures or banners in the e-mail signature without requiring any special modifications of Microsoft Outlook/ACTIVESIGNATURE. ![]()
